CVs and Job Applications- a crucial part of the job hunt and one fraught with questions if we haven't had a straightforward work experience.

Ben Whitworth facilitated an informative session this morning, tackling tricky situations such as how to explain gaps on CVs, what personal information to include and how to write that dreaded 'Supporting Information' section.

We looked at some sample statements and how to tailor what we say to the job description and person spec. Have a go at this exercise:

Moving on to the art session, artist Vicky Ward returned to The Make Space with plenty of cardboard boxes, masking tape and a glue gun. It was time to go big and transform our sketches of building-bits into 3D models. Precision and spatial awareness were key as flat bits of scrap card were assembled into local grand designs.
